Childbearing MAY BECOME OBSOLETE in the near future
You can print a functional gun
on a 3D printer. The tech already exists. The 3D printer
can print MEAT when the correct materials are loaded
into it. There is serious talk about printing organs for
transplants. How long till a
living organism can
be printed? What king of freak organism will some nut
case in California design and print? I can't wait to
see. Comic books may hold some clues. We are already
able to resize images that we print on regular printers,
so how about printing a 1/4 size person, or a whole race
of them? Who will be the first to print a living
sex toy? What will it look like? Will it be bi-sexual?
Will it be a protected specie or even considered as a
living being? I really want a 3D printer. Why? All
of the above. It is mankind's good fortune that I can't
Another emerging technology
raises some questions too. The driverless, or
self-driving car will supposedly reduce accidents, but
will the law still require a licensed "driver" to be in
the vehicle? That would be a contradiction in terms.
What will we use for ID when Driver Licenses are
obsolete? Parts used in machines sometimes fail, so who
will be liable in the event of an accident involving two
driverless cars? Will the manufacturer be required to
provide the required liability insurance? Suppose
your 5 year old daughter decides to go visit grandma
at 6AM. She's watched you operate the vehicle and
kids today are born into tech, so what's to stop her?
Would you be legally able to send your children
somewhere in a driverless car or have one pick them up
for a ride home? There are more questions then there are
answers. Watch for a deluge of new laws.
THIS WORLD GETS MORE
INTERESTING AND ENTERTAINING BY THE DAY.
I would love to hear your tech
insanity. What tech doors do your imaginations open?
